This is a multifunctional button. Clicking it in Play mode will speed up section reproduction. Four high speed levels are available by successive clicks and to get back to normal speed just click back the same number of times in the opposite direction (Slow Play). In Stop mode this button allows you to move towards the last section saved to the current lecture file.

VOR stands for Voice Operated Recording and means that the program will record only clear sound coming through the microphone and skip all periods of silence. For this mode to work properly you will have to experiment with settings for Recording Volume and Suppress Microphone Noise Level sliders. Please find these in the Settings dialog.
Note: Shortcut key for this menu is Alt-S. Send File by E-Mail This option allows you to send current lecture file by E-Mail as an attachment in your default email program. You can choose between sending the entire lecture file, just the audio recording or just the text. Use this option to contact technical support regarding any problem you may have with Lecture Recorder. This option will take you directly to the Lecture Recorder's homepage. Opens window with basic information about the
program, manufacturer and
license. Opens help index file. Use this option if you want to switch from uncompressed meeting file to compressed lecture file and vice versa. Please note that with longer recordings this operation may take a while. By default, this menu option gives you easy access to Windows Volume Controls utilities. Choose Playback to bring up Windows Playback Volume Controls or choose Recording to bring up Windows Recording Volume Controls. Note: Windows Vista users will have three options under Volume Controls: Mixers, Playback Devices and Recording Devices. These will bring up corresponding Vista's dialogs.
Displays the program startup dialog. Opens additional Help screen that shows all
available keyboard
shortcuts. You can also use F12 key to call up this screen throughout
the program. Availability of some keyboard shortcut depends on the
current working mode so this screen is organized in tabs accordingly. Note: some special keys combinations may not be available on your computer due to conflicts with other applications or operating system shortcuts. Opens dialog for changing different program's Settings.
Volume commands react both on click-by-click and click-and-hold.
Move Up: Moves selected section up one place in the list. Move Down: Moves selected section down one place in the list. Delete: Deletes selected sections. Merge: Merges selected sections by appending them sequentially to the first selected section. Save Changes: Saves all changes to the current lecture file. This action can not be undone so be careful for mistakes. If not sure, it would be better to click Cancel and do rearrangements again than to lose some important section.
